I received my undergraduate and Master degree in Surgery of Integrated Western and Chinese Medicine in Hunan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Just before coming to Cambridge, I became a clinical doctor in Integrated Western and Chinese Medicine in China. I completed my MPhil in Public Health in 2009 focusing on the Epidemiology of Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC).

As a current PhD student, I am very interested in research in the prevalence of ASC with special focus on the cultural and environmental influence. Part of my studies will be the mapping and tracking of the healthcare pathway of people with ASC within and outside UK.
