Professor Ian Goodyer leads a research group investigating the nature of language delays and disorders in young children.
He also established the Section of Developmental Psychiatry at the University of Cambridge, which houses the ARC. His other main program of research is in the field of childhood depression, investigating genetic, hormonal, cognitive, and life-event factors.
