ARC events September 2006
The Autism Research Centre held a concert and art exhibition by people with
autism spectrum conditions on 17th September. The exhibition featured work
by Stephen Wiltshire, Peter Myers and Zoe Kakolyris among many other very
talented artists. We were delighted that Jools Holland attended to host the
concert and he also played a fantastic duet with Derek Paravicini. The
evening was a success and very much enjoyed.
The First Cambridge Autism
Research Conference was held the following day and was an opportunity for
delegates to hear lectures and view posters summarising the latest research
from the ARC.
